Product description

A Zone 1 battery and battery enclosure for hazardous area applications such as oil and gas platforms, refineries, wellheads, and gas pipelines. The iBATT101 is a wall mounted durable battery enclosure with a lockable hinged door. This allows for easy access and simplifies battery replacement and maintenance. The battery enclosure houses two 12V valve regulated lead acid batteries connected in series. The battery enclosure is certified for extremely high discharge currents, and has a configurable output voltage between 2V and 8V depending on the number of cells ordered. The user can then connect two or more enclosures together in series to give the desired 12V / 24V / 48V system voltage.
