Product description

Explosion-proof cable entry

• Works with the HF isolator iSOLATE501 • Saves time and money • Suitable for both surface and mining • ATEX / IECEx Zone 1 certified • US & Canada Class I Div 1 / Zone 1 certified

The iSOLATE-CT was developed to simply lead an antenna cable through an Ex-d housing wall. It works in conjunction with the Extronics iSOLATE501 galvanic isolator, which makes RF outputs intrinsically safe, enables easy installation, and improves efficiency, saving you time and money. It enables quick and easy antenna installation in Ex areas. The ISOLATE-CT has an industrial standard IP66 N connector so that no cable glands need to be attached - that saves time and money. Thanks to the iSOLATE501, thanks to the intrinsically safe HF outputs, you can easily connect, disconnect and exchange the wireless antenna of your choice live, in order to achieve more flexibility and shorter downtimes. No special tools are required. Antennas and cables are attached directly to the N connector by hand, which simplifies installation. Use simple device antennas that you can find under antennas on this homepage. The iSOLATE501 technology makes RF outputs intrinsically safe, so that no certified antennas are required. Simple device antennas can be used, e.g. for example, the Extronics iANT2xx series, which has been classified by our engineers according to the requirements for installing simple electrical devices in hazardous areas. The iSOLATE-CT is characterized by its small and compact form factor. It is screwed directly into the wall of an Ex d housing for maximum ease of use. It has a sturdy, durable design. With an extended temperature range and extremely high pressure resistance, the iSOLATE-CT is suitable for a large number of industrial locations.
